NIBM signed a memorandum of understanding with the Institute of Certiﬁed Management Accounts of Sri Lanka to provide CMA accreditation to the courses offered by NIBM which would facilitate both NIBM and CMA students to obtain exemptions. INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS OF SRI LANKA

The National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) and the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (AAT Sri Lanka) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to offer exemptions for the AAT ﬁnalist students to peruse a well-recognized UK degree in professional accounting at NIBM. With the signing of this MoU, the AAT ﬁnalist students can now complete a BA (Hons) in Professional Accounting degree at NIBM in two years while getting an exemption on the ﬁrst year. The programme is structured in part time basis where the lectures are conducted during weekends and weekday evenings to help the students to build their academic qualiﬁcations while they are being employed.
